Only ten labels have been awarded as the best of the year, selected among 27000 wines tasted during the drafting of the Bibenda 2019 guide!
Bibenda is one of the most famous Italian wine guides. The wines are rated by the sommeliers in a 100-point scheme – the top wines are awarded with 5 Grappoli that is the highest possible rating. Moreover, Bibenda’s tasting commission annually draws a Top Ten of the 10 best wines tasted among those in competition. The wines selected, besides have been awarded with the 5 Grappoli, have particularly fascinated the commission: they are chosen using additional criteria, based on the emotions.
The labels awarded as “Best wine of the year” are those that have most impressed the tasting commission, which identified them “listening to the soul, the mind and the heart”.
With its spicy aroma and its pleasant sweetness, never excessive, our Kaid Vendemmia Tardiva 2017 has thrilled the commission entering the very restricted range of the best Italian wines for Bibenda!
