In the world of wine, the buzz is that Sicily is on its way to becoming the new Tuscany. Sicily is booming wit quality products, reasonable prices and excellent and innovative wineries, as is evident in this fantastic Syrah. It is the classic example of how Syrah should be: smoky and earthy with juicy blackberry, jammy cherry and ripe raspberry on the nose.
This wine pairs well with grilled or smoked meats and well-seasoned cheeses like Parmigiano-Reggiano
