Last Saturday, after an intense tasting session, which saw us compete with two other sweet wines from Piedmont and Molise, the 400 jurors have chosen our Kaid Late Harvest 2017 as winner!
A wine that has always conquered for its unique character and for its extraordinary pleasantness. It comes from 100% Syrah grapes which are left to dry in the vines, after careful pinching of the bunches. This natural drying process on the vines gives to the grape all the special aroma compounds that we find on the glass.
This Oscar is a great achievement that means a lot for us: we have always carried out a constant work of quality research on this grape variety, the Syrah, which has now become the emblem of Camporeale; and even in the sweet version it express this strong link with our land.
